At Messy Manatees, our signature sensory sessions combine hands-on, unstructured messy play with music, movement, and a love for our local ecosystem. Every class is carefully curated for distinct developmental stages, using child-safe, non-toxic materials.

Hands-on sensory experiences designed for every stage of early childhood.

What we offer across our three age groups:

Tiny Manatees : 45 Minutes (Ages 6– 14 Months)

  • The Focus: Gentle tactile stimulation, tummy time comfort, soft musical rhythms, and early body awareness.

Introduce your littlest splashers to the wonder of the world around them. These sessions focus on gentle tactile exploration, soft musical rhythms, and tracking toys designed specifically for developing senses. We use 100% taste-safe, non-toxic materials so your baby can safely discover new textures, build early motor skills, and bond with you in a calm, supportive environment.

Toddler Manatees: 45 Minutes (Ages 14 Months – 3 Years)

  • The Focus: Fine and gross motor development, cause-and-effect, and language building.

As toddlers get on the move, so does their curiosity! These high-energy classes blend interactive music and gross motor movement with delightfully messy sensory bins. Your little explorer will scoop, pour, dance, and play, building crucial fine motor skills, language development, and independence.

Preschool Manatees: 45 Minutes (Ages 3 – 5 Years)

  • The Focus: Collaborative play, creative problem-solving, and storytelling.

Designed for preschool-aged creators, these sessions take sensory exploration to the next level with complex themes and collaborative play. Children dive into storytelling, imaginative building, and rhythmic movement games. Activities encourage cooperative problem-solving, deeper focus, and scientific thinking—all while letting them express their creativity through rich, hands-on textures and vibrant local ecosystem themes.
